Buyer/International Trade Specialist

The Buyer’s role is to phone prospect for new partners with whom he or she maintains and develops good business relationships in order to meet the acquisitions target in the industry where her or she operates – both quantitatively and qualitatively.

Buyers are at the heart of the acquisitions process and manage their portfolio of suppliers like a genuine entrepreneur.

They draw up and present to the Marketing Department acquisition files that contains all the details on the goods intended to be purchased and they negotiate the contractual clauses with the suppliers, observing the company’s terms and conditions.

Depending on the country and the range of products managed, they attend exhibitions in order to identify opportunities and clients who have a real potential of making an acquisition.
